The mad scientists at YHAO have cooked up a 50 miler afloat and afoot in Yellowstone.
Your crew will split into two groups, one starting at on the north shore of Yellowstone Lake in Sea Kayaks and paddling south towards the southeast arm.
The other half start at Eagle Creek Trailhead on foot in the Shoshone National Forest. They will head south towards Eagle Pass. If conditions permit, they can rope up and summit Eagle Peak, the highest point in the park at 11,358′. They will then descend into the backcountry of Yellowstone.
The groups will meet in the most remote corner of the park, switch gear, and complete the expedition.
This trek is only available after July 15 due to bear restrictions and high water crossings.
