The mad scientists at YHAO have cooked up an adventure afloat and afoot in Yellowstone.
Your crew will split into two groups, one starting at on the north shore of Yellowstone Lake in Sea Kayaks and paddling south towards the southeast arm.
The other half start at Eagle Creek Trailhead on foot in the Shoshone National Forest. They will head south towards Eagle Pass. If conditions permit, they can rope up and summit Eagle Peak, the highest point in the park at 11,358′. They will then descend into the backcountry of Yellowstone.
The groups will meet in the most remote corner of the park, switch gear, and complete the expedition.
- Crews are limited to 8 persons each
- Trek length is 7 days in the backcountry plus one front country training day plus check-in and check-out days at basecamp for a total of 10 days. Shorter itineraries may be available- please contact us to arrange.
- Cost for this program is $600 per person.
- This trek is only available after July 15 due to bear restrictions, snowy mountain passes, and high water crossings.
